Oct. 20, 2023 - God Created Families

Worship:

Father, you are beautiful and everything you create is wondrous.  How awesome is your power and goodness that you made the cosmos and everything it contains in only six days  Father, you are beyond our comprehension on so many levels, but what we do understand is your everlasting love and faithfulness to us, your children.  Even then, we wonder at the miracle of your compassion.  Thank you, Father, for standing by us, no matter the circumstance.  You are our champion and defender, you provide abundantly for your family, you turn troubles to treasures.  Holy is your name!  Holy and good is our Lord and Saviour, Jesus.  Constant and kindly corrective is Holy Spirit.  God bless the Trinity of God, forevermore!  Amen and amen.

Prophetic Poem:

God created families, a blessing to us all.

To share His lovingkindness, when we heed the call.

Not all are called to parenthood, but all have mom's and dad's,

Some are living solo, some prefer their cats.

Families are such funny things, they come in all shapes and sizes,

But whatever form they be, they're full of some surprises!

Some are large, and some are small, and some are blended in,

No matter the multitude, they go through thick and thin.

Lots of laughs and consternation, and tears along the way,

Troubled times and happy times, they come like night and day.

Family life is not for all, but to those that it's been given,

It's an inkling of the love you feel with your Father up in heaven.

Hug your kids and hold them tight, this time on earth is fleeting,

Soon a grand reunion, a whole new family you'll be meeting.

Never fear, the time's not lost, but only put on pause,

For there comes a day, when all will say, I'm home - no longer lost.

So shine up your shoes and souls, for someday very soon,

The family that is heaven sent will join you on the moon. (?!)

Worship: Heavenly Father, you are our strength, our champion and defender, the rock we firmly plant our trust and faith on.  You are our creator, the creator of the cosmos, the fine-tuned universe.  How great is they power that you can envision and engineer such perfect balance?  You are truly awesome and overwhelming to contemplate and yet you call us by our name, you call us your children.  You are our Abba, the endearment for Father, our papa.  Thank you, your blessings are unending, for you are absolutely good.  All glory and praise to the Most High God, His son, Jesus, His Holy Spirit, Amen!
