Sep. 21, 2023 - Summer Closes, Goodbye to Roses

Worship:

Father you are mighty and wonderful, awesome beyond compare!  Your presence lays upon the earth, ready to be taken up, like a mantle.  Father, may we be cloaked in your goodness.  We receive your love and protection, the blessings you pour out upon your children.  Thank you, Father, you are absolutely good, and we are so grateful to be under your shadow.  Hallelujah to the Lord!  For He is good and His blessings are for forever.  Amen and amen.

Prophetic Poem:

Summer closes; goodbye to roses, the harvest is ready for gleaning,

Fall is upon us, the return of the school bus, as children return to their learning.

The cool of the air, the sun disappears, as daylight wanes and nights grow longer,

Seasons will change, things rearranged, as the call of my love grows stronger.

I hold in my hand, nature and man, their patterns as old as time,

Redeemed from the curse before it got worse, both are subjects of mine.

Stay on your course, for things will get worse for those who have no one to govern,

Cling to your faith, the time and the place is divinely decided and sovereign.

Get in my word, don't follow the herd, focused on daily occurrences,

Long is my plan, strong you must stand, against the enemy's disturbances.

A reign of a thousand still needs to be counted when Jesus returns to the earth,

For glory prevails, despite the travails, the labour of giving birth.

A new kingdom come, when all's said and done, your Saviour resumes His position,

King of All Things, Lord of the Rings, each knew will bow in submission.

So gather your flock, stand firm on the rock, do not waver or bend like the willow,

Be strong, straight, and true, whatever you do, be loving and kind to your fellows.

Preach my word when you can, so that all understand, the love of Christ has redeemed them,

Open that door, invite to explore, the gospel and all that is written.
