May 31, 2023 - The Beaches of Normandy & Sabbaticals

Worship:

Heavenly Father, how great are your plans for your people and your planet?  The world is your oyster!  The cosmos are your creation!  Oh, to have your patience.  We get so frustrated by our limitations.  We can hardly wait to be reunited as your family.  To experience once again a divine relationship with you.  You have made us a beautiful world and we can't wait to leave it.  Forgive us, Father, for your transgressions.  May we learn from our journey here, that we may return to you with great joy, experience, and gratitude.  In Jesus's mighty name, we thank you, trust you, and rely on your goodness.  Amen.

Prophetic Prose:

The beaches of Normandy were a blood bath.  Leave no man behind was not a possibility.  "D-Day" was a bad day for my children.  So many lives laid down in the fight for justice and freedom.  If I had my druthers, no lives would ever be lost.  In the physical world there will be pain and suffering.  The only escape is Jesus.  A life laid down for friends is noble indeed.  To fight for one's country, for freedom, for family, are just causes.  While noble, it is better as an individual to shed no blood.  Jesus shed His blood so you wouldn't have to.  Trust in me.  I am Justice, I am Provider.  I will take care of my people.  Though you inhabit your body, it is not your home.  I am your home - now, currently.  You do not have to wait to return home, you're here now.  Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it's not true.  You are called a sojourner for a reason.  When you are on holiday, do you not still have a home to return to?  No, you're not on holiday, more like a sabbatical.  Time away to learn and grow.  One sabbatical per spirit.  The sabbaticals will soon be done.  2023, what is a decade?  How much more life can be established in 10 years?  Enjoy your life, enjoy your children, enjoy your grandchildren.
