May 16, 2023 - There are People in this Movement

Worship:

Heavenly Father, you are everlasting, all powerful, and architect of all1  We wander in the wilderness, seeking your light to shine on the pathway that leads out of this darkness.  Thank you, Father, you provide everything we need.  You are the waymaker, turning bad circumstances to opportunities for change and growth.  We wait with joy and expectation of a new kingdom under our real King and Saviour, our Lord, Jesus Christ of heavenly places, who walked the world and is to come.


Prophetic Prose:

There are some people in this movement who have nefarious intentions.  Not all you see love the Lord.  Spot the charlatans, they cannot resist drama, performance art, the spotlight.  They try to hide in dark places and fly under the radar, but their ego always gets in the way.  Set the bait and lure them out. Fishers of Men catch demons too.  They spoil the nets, pollute the catch.  Sift them out, bonk their heads with a swift and sure club.  Toss them aside and repair the net once again.  Over and over, tie the knots that bind, that secure the load.  The fishing ground is sparse, too many have taken other bait, junk bait, chum thrown in large, bloody batches.  I am like the fisherman, standing in the rushing waters, casting with my delicate hook, enticing with small but well-crafted hooks.  Catch and release, catch and release.  My hook has no barb, my fish slip away, they go with the flow, for to swim with the current is easy.  Repair your nets, oh fishers of men, for soon comes a day they will flood your way.  The current is changing direction.  No more appetite for chum, clouding the water.  Only fresh, living water and select morsels of meat.  A great catch is almost ready; enjoy the rest while you wait, your service will soon be required.  Then MY CHILDREN will bask in the joy of the Lord, for the light will be on them!

"Current" - as in, current events.  Those that follow the 'current thing' will come back around.

Worship: Heavenly Father, you are our strength, our champion and defender, the rock we firmly plant our trust and faith on.  You are our creator, the creator of the cosmos, the fine-tuned universe.  How great is they power that you can envision and engineer such perfect balance?  You are truly awesome and overwhelming to contemplate and yet you call us by our name, you call us your children.  You are our Abba, the endearment for Father, our papa.  Thank you, your blessings are unending, for you are absolutely good.  All glory and praise to the Most High God, His son, Jesus, His Holy Spirit, Amen!
