Apr. 23, 2023 - Time is of the Essence

Worship:

Heavenly-Father, you are the alpha and omega, you hold your people and your planet in the palm of your hand.  Thank you for your compassion for your creation.  You know our joys and sorrows, our trials and temptations, our failing and our victories.  Thank you, Father, that we can do all things through you.  Thank you for strength and endurance and the Peace of the Lord, to whom we trust and rely.


Prophetic Poem:

Time is of the essence, no time to prevaricate,

A line is being drawn in the sand, don't hesitate.

Better a fool today and restore a life to God's salvation,

Than hold your tongue and chance hell and condemnation.


Keep it simple, keep it straight, close the door and unlock the gate.

Open your mouth and say my words, ensure that they are heard.

Start with John, but don't be long, not a sermon just a blurb.

Memorize phrases, quote them by rote, that's the best way to make a start,

Model my life, be a beacon of light, have a kind and charitable heart.

Form a community, to give you immunity from the things that tear apart.

Gather, my church, leave none in the lurch, the crevasse between safety and sin,

I stand at the door, I am knocking once more, time is short - please let me in,

Come home to Christ, heed this advice - I am the Saviour - we win!

Worship: Heavenly Father, you are our strength, our champion and defender, the rock we firmly plant our trust and faith on.  You are our creator, the creator of the cosmos, the fine-tuned universe.  How great is they power that you can envision and engineer such perfect balance?  You are truly awesome and overwhelming to contemplate and yet you call us by our name, you call us your children.  You are our Abba, the endearment for Father, our papa.  Thank you, your blessings are unending, for you are absolutely good.  All glory and praise to the Most High God, His son, Jesus, His Holy Spirit, Amen!
