Apr. 12, 2023 - Prayer & Psalm

Worship:

Heavenly Father, thank you for this blessed day.  For fresh air, clean water, sunshine and nutritious food from good soil.  You are a loving father that provides abundantly for your children and our planet.  We invite your presence into all aspects of our world, our lives and our systems and institutions.  Increase your glory and light, Father, that no darkness shall prevail.  You have given us the victory, we receive it, it shields us and we wield it - the authority, in your Holy name - Jehovah.  Amen and amen.

I was praying about a previous word from Holy Spirit regarding the "great reset", in which Jesus is the great reset.  I was also thinking about the WEF adage, "you'll own nothing and be happy".  It occurred to me that our enemy is polluting and stealing (as usual) phrases and intentions that God has set aside for his own purposes.  One day, we WILL own nothing and be happy, because EVERYTHING belongs to God, and when we trust and rely on Him, he provides everything abundantly. 

This scripture was given as confirmation, especially note the title of the chapter in the Amplified version:

The Privileges of Citizenship in Zion.

Psalm 87:  A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A Song.

His foundation is on the holy mountain. 

The Lord loves the gates of Zion
More than all the dwellings of Jacob (Israel).
3 Glorious things are spoken of you,
O city of God [Jerusalem]. Selah.
4 
“I will mention Rahab (Egypt) and Babylon among those who know Me—
Behold, Philistia and Tyre with Ethiopia (Cush)—
‘This one was born there.’”
5 
But of Zion it will be said, “This one and that one were born in her,”
And the Most High Himself will establish her.
6 
The Lord will count, when He registers the peoples,
“This one was born there.” Selah.
7 
The singers as well as the players of flutes will say,
“All my springs and sources of joy are in you [Jerusalem, city of God].”

Worship: Heavenly Father, you are our strength, our champion and defender, the rock we firmly plant our trust and faith on.  You are our creator, the creator of the cosmos, the fine-tuned universe.  How great is they power that you can envision and engineer such perfect balance?  You are truly awesome and overwhelming to contemplate and yet you call us by our name, you call us your children.  You are our Abba, the endearment for Father, our papa.  Thank you, your blessings are unending, for you are absolutely good.  All glory and praise to the Most High God, His son, Jesus, His Holy Spirit, Amen!
