Feb. 22, 2023 - Isaiah Was a Mighty Man of God

Worship:

Abba Father, you are faithful to perform your promises.  you are far above us in thoughts and ways.  We thank you, Father, that your plan for your people is perfect in execution and timing.  We wait and rely on you and your ultimate power and goodness.  In Christ we pray - amen.

Prophetic Poem:

Isaiah was a mighty man of God,

He prophesied the plan and foretold,

The coming of events both near and far,

The timing of God and His faithful star.

The star of the show, a man named Jesus,

A servant king - he chose to please us.

He willingly came to save life on earth,

From satan's sin there is no dearth.

A miracle child of the virgin, Mary,

Blessed among women from whom to carry,

The son of man and the offspring of God,

She had the honour, was given the nod.

We've come full circle to present day,

He returns to earth, he comes to stay.

A mighty army with swords a blazing,

Will descend to earth and set tongues wagging.

A glorious sight for eyes to behold,

They war cry of angles - a sound so bold.

Sweeping the world from corner to corner,

Get out of the path, I give fair warning.

Shelter your children and stay in one place,

We're plucking the weeds from the human race.

Those unbelievers who refused to draw near,

The corrupted and wicked without any fear.

The reverence for God, infilled with the Spirit,

Cast far away - we shall not go near it.

Clean up your house and don your best clothes,

For Jesus is coming to marry with those,

Living in truth and loving the Way,

Keep guarding your soul - every day.

The time is upon us, just a little to wait,

No promise is given of a particular date.

Suffice it to say you won't be getting much older,

So carry on bravely, my Christian soldiers.

Continue to pray, declare and decree,

Lift up your voices in praise to me.

I listen from heaven, you have father's ear,

So many answered, this very year.

Twenty twenty three is the year to be free,

Put down your burdens and give them to me.

My glory's sufficient to heal every one,

Rest in my presence for soon it is done.
