Jan. 21, 2024 - Revelation pt. 1

Worship:

Father, you are the promise and the power that we cling to.  You are our champion and defender.  Your glory will obliterate the darkness of our enemy.  Your truth and light will dispel the evil that envelopes the world.  We trust your plan, Father, and eagerly await the return of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus.  He is the risen, sacrificial lamb and the conquering King of all Kings.  His foot will step down on the Mount of Olives from whence it left and forever change the trajectory of the universe.  Come, Jesus!  For you are absolutely good and righteous.  Thank you, Holy Spirit, for your strength and guidance in this time of seed, time, and harvest.  Mighty is the Lord, our God, sovereign and omnipotent, merciful, loving, and kind.  May a fraction of the attributes of our creator be imbued in us, and be acceptable in His eyes.  Amen and amen.

Prophetic Poem:

(This poem was a multi-day word that was completed on Jan. 28th or so.  It was written in different chunks, abandoned and returned to, started again as a separate piece, before I realized it was to be combined to complete the whole).

Revelation, revelation, a revealing of the truth,

The promise from the Father,

An unveiling, the burden of proof.

The glory of God to hide a mystery,

A challenge to man to seek the answer,

Scour the pages; reflect on history,

I am the ballet, you are the dancer.

Listen to the music; it stirs the weary soul,

Intricate steps along the way,

The stories are long foretold.

The final act in the written word,

The Father speaks to His only son,

A tremendous vision, seen and heard,

Faithfully transcribed by beloved John.

A blessing to those who studiously read,

The stern warnings and promises given,

Who mark thy words and carefully heed,

Wo cast off the dead and enjoin the living.

To be continued...
