Dec. 25, 2023 - Merry Christmas Prayer

Worship:

Father, Merry Christmas!  Today we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  Born of the Virgin Mary, blessed among women.  Father, WE are the blessed ones, for we have been saved from our sin and redeemed back to you.  Wonderful Counselor, Everlasting Father, Mighty God, Prince of Peace!  Thank you, Father, that not by works, but by grace alone, we are restored to you.  Thank you, Jesus, that you willingly came, you became poor that we may be rich in love, peace, joy, faith, patience, kindness, meekness, gentleness, and self-control.  Thank you for our salvation through your sacrificial love for us.  Born is the King of Israel!  Come, Jesus!  Come again!  Return, Reign, and Rule!  Amen and amen.

Worship: Heavenly Father, you are our strength, our champion and defender, the rock we firmly plant our trust and faith on.  You are our creator, the creator of the cosmos, the fine-tuned universe.  How great is they power that you can envision and engineer such perfect balance?  You are truly awesome and overwhelming to contemplate and yet you call us by our name, you call us your children.  You are our Abba, the endearment for Father, our papa.  Thank you, your blessings are unending, for you are absolutely good.  All glory and praise to the Most High God, His son, Jesus, His Holy Spirit, Amen!
